Would you happen to know why the program forces a space between text prior to bullet points, but in the saved version, the space is not present?
The way HTML is rendered is tied to CSS. TinyMCE has a "base" CSS as a part of its theme and you can also pass in your own CSS to fine tune the behavior.
When you render the same HTML outside TinyMCE the CSS in use on that page determines why content looks as it does. If the HTML content is the same but it renders/looks different that would typically be a CSS issue.
